Gambling on Gender: an erotic gender swap tale

Gambling on Gender: an erotic gender swap tale by Sally Bend

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was frankly fascinating. It wasn’t so much the story (thought it was a great story), it was the way that Sally stuck you in a dozen different bodies and yet every time she managed to make you feel every single aspect of what being that person was like. I admit that early in the story I thought that Sally was unnecessarily mean to a particular type of person, but with each word, I got drawn into the character and really felt like I was that person. It was no longer mean. It was simply a fact of their existence and vicariously, mine.

I found myself not wanting it to end because I just wanted Sally to show me so clearly what it is like to be another person. There wasn’t much sex is this one, and though I find it nearly painful to say so, I’m glad. The intense psycho-sensual stimulation of simply being another person would be overwhelming when combined with a good sex scene (which we know Sally can do quite skillfully.)

Needless to say, this is an excellent book and if you think that erotica can’t be deep and thoughtful, Sally’s about to prove you wrong.

Book Review: Futanari Moans and the Sucker’s Cure by Sally Bend

I’ve decided to start writing reviews of the books that I read. As a writer, I know that writers bust their butts trying to realize an idea into a polished piece that let’s other see inside our heads for a little while. I know that I want you to see what I’ve created AND TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT IT. I’ve read the same thing over and over from other writers. So, I’m going to start giving my peers the same thing that I’m asking for. Without further ado:

Futanari Moans and the Sucker’s Cure by Sally Bend.

Sally Bend’s daring and dynamic dame of deliciously delightful dimensions returns for a second installment. Ms. Moans’ previous adventure has left her with an unexpected consequence. Our heroine goes to drastic measures, taking us into an exploration of an experience that should be terrifying, but is instead incredibly sensual and erotic. Instead of the standard scene of the monster violating her, it reads like two equals engaged in passionate lovemaking, a clever trick when you’re dealing with an ancient monster from legend that defies human understanding.

Sally’s given us another fantastic chapter in Ms. Moans’ story and I can’t wait to read the next one. While this book doesn’t have the heart-lightening humor of the previous one, it makes up for it with a deep sensuality touches you in places that you might not be aware of with some very pleasant results.

Something a little different…

As you all know, I write across a number of genres. The publishing order depends mostly on how fast can I update what I’ve already written and then get it edited. I have hundreds of thousands of words already written, but I wasn’t thinking about professionally publishing them when I wrote them. I have to go through them, reread them, see what needs to be updated or adjusted, added to, taken out, etc. Then, they need a good editorial scrub. So, even though I have a huge backlog, I can’t just throw it out there all at once. However, the fifth one’s made it out: Cherie’s Awakening: A Futa Story. It’s a futa story, but it’s also got a nice lesfic vibe. I’m hoping that people who like either genre will enjoy it.

Cherie’s hunting men. She’s got three nights, she’s made a list and she’s working her way down it. After crossing off numbers one and two on each of the previous nights, she gets to work on Mr. Number Three. However, after a conversation with her first two conquests, number three not only rebuffs her advances, but he makes sure that no one else takes her up on her offer. An angry Cherie commiserates with her new friend Liz, and after a few too many drinks, Liz helps her back to her room, but not before promising to introduce her to ‘her friend’. When a power outage plunges the elevator into darkness, Liz decides that maybe now is the time to introduce Cherie to ‘her friend’. After an exciting elevator ride, Cherie starts to wonder if it’s really ‘men’ that she’s been looking for all this time. Maybe she’s been overlooking a way to address her physical needs that might be much more satisfying…

Find it on Amazon, Smashwords, and soon goodreads, Kobo, Apple, and the rest.

On Cats and their Tales

The Cat’s Tale: The First Lesson giveaway went well, I think.  22 copies were downloaded. Hopefully, people like the story and post reviews (please post reviews).  I did get a few email questions about it, so I’ll take a moment and answer them.

Cat’s Tale is not a short, quick, get-your-rocks-off porn fix. Don’t get me wrong. There is and will be an immense amount of sex it in, some of it pretty exotic. There will be pre-op/non-op transwomen, as well as those who’ve gone all the way through the process.  You’ll have gay men, transmen, lesbians, bisexuals, genderqueer and fluid, as well as polyamory. Crossdressing, watersports, fisting, hucows, group sex, BDSM, femdom, exhibitionism, sissies, pet play, suspension, outdoor sex, bukkake, driving sex, throat fucking, elevator sex, lactation, enormous cocks, tiny cunts, horror sex, feminization, toys, sex machines, and so much else. There’s stuff in it that I don’t know what to call it and I came up with it!  In fact, I think the only things you won’t see are children, scat, vomit, animals, and mutilation, though animals will be mentioned once or twice in passing. While I’m not opposed to writing it, there won’t be incest, though again, it will be mentioned. There won’t be futas (because they’re imaginary and this is a story set in the real world), but there is a pre-op transwoman who’s so well endowed that she might as well be a futa.

Cat herself is very deep and extremely complicated. It’ll take a while before you learn much about her, and even longer to really understand her motivations, why she does what she does, and why she does it in the way that she does.  Even then, you’ll still see her grow and change throughout the story. Jason starts simpler, but he grows and changes as well. There will be other significant characters and they too will grow and change.

Cat’s Tale is long. It’s 125+K words and it’s not finished.  I get that you may not be looking for a super lengthy tale when you just want some quick in the pants action. While there are some scenes that will definitely make you reach for your favorite lubricant (or a partner), there’s also romance, drama, pain, difficult choices, misunderstandings, humor, conflict, character development, social issues, physical violence, and love. I hope you appreciate those things and choose to follow and stay with it all the way through.

There will be liberties taken with transgender (MtF, specifically) biology.  Trust me, I know the realities, but it’s a story and in many stories, there are characters that are unique or special in some way.  Especially in epic stories, which if for no other reason than length, this is.

I do hope that you enjoy and appreciate it.  If you’d like to take a look at it, you can find it on Amazon.  It’s free on KindleUnlimited. Here’s a link to the page: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Y5677N4/

Thanks!

From Whence Comes Inspiration

My inspiration for stories (the vast majority of which I’ve yet to publish, but I’m working on it) comes from a number of different places. I think the most common place is dreams. I barely remember my dreams. Just flashes of images, or snippets of sound. My waking mind tries to put these together in some sort of coherent fashion, but most of it is missing, so it extrapolates to fill in the gaps. This comes out of my mind and fingers as a story. There are other places it comes from as well. Sometimes I’ll look in the mirror and think about the person that I always wanted to be (Cat’s Tale: The First Lesson ). I might look into that same mirror and reflect back on the path of my life and choices I’ve made to see the person that I might have been (Christine: Courtship). Sometimes, it’s a close friend telling me about a secret desire (Futa Birthday Surprise). The newest one is a combination of factors. In this case, I was taking a break from editing Christine: Love and looking back at some old story ideas and test scenes that I’d written. Then, I read Sally Bend’s take on Indiana Jones/Lara Croft that’s amusing, erotic and wholly entertaining – Futanari Moans and the Mummy’s Hand (Job). Finally, I noticed that my first book sold was actually my second book published: Futa Birthday Surprise. And in Germany, oddly enough. The combination of those three produced a new story. Now, I just have to write it. It should debut right after Christine: Love comes out. I’m sure you’ll love it.

On The Edge of My Seat

Cat’s Tale: The First Lesson is finished editing. I’ve submitted it to Amazon. It’s going to be FREE on KindleUnlimited, so I’m hoping that a lot of people read it. I’ve already written over 120K words of story, making it longer than most novels, and it’s still not done. It’ll be broken down into bite size ebooks of about 12K each. It’s going through their approval process, so I’m pretty antsy. I’ll post an update when it’s live on their site.

Two down, 100 to go!

Futa Birthday Surprise is done. 7K words turned into 11K. I’m not sure how, since it’s such a campy little story. It was fun to write. Don’t go looking for a lot of romance in it. Male, female, gay, lesbian, bisexual, dominant women, size, futas, whatever your preferences…it’ll definitely satisfy your carnal needs! It’s up on Smashwords and getting pushed out to their affiliates, like Barnes & Noble, Apple Books, Kobo, etc. It should be available on Amazon tomorrow. I’ll make a Twitter announcement when they send me the confirmation.

Busy, Busy, Busy!

Christine: Courtship is published. Christine: Love is done and ready to edit, as is Cat’s Tale: The First Lesson. I’m writing a little Futa Story now to give my brain a bit of a break from serious transgender stories. Trans persons are real, actual people, so they need to be treated as such. Futas are imaginary, so you can do whatever you want. It should be a irreverent, fun little romp. 7 – 8K words tops. It’s going to be Futa-on-Male / Futa-on-Female, so it should have wide appeal hopefully. I’m thinking about calling it “Futa Birthday Surprise” since it’ll be the female’s birthday. After that, I’ll probably do Leslie (which is sorta-kinda a MILF story, sorta-kinda a cuckold story, but not really either. It’s hard to explain), Christine: Pain (where things get pretty rocky for Christine and Alex), and Cat’s Tale 2 (which starts to set the groundwork for what it will become). I’m not sure what the subtitle for that one will be yet. ‘The Second Lesson’ seems like a cop-out, so I’ll have to think of something else relevant to the story. It should be a pretty busy week!

My First Book

I’m so excited! I published my first book! It’s called Christine: Courtship. It’s about a trans woman named Christine (obviously) and a persistent young man named Alex. It’s a hot, sexy romance, and pretty funny at times. It’s the first in a series of four of that tells their story. Here’s the cover.

I hope you consider checking it out, because it’s really good. It’s on Amazon, Smashwords, and pretty much everywhere you can find ebooks.
